Following the success of her debut single Turned on a Dime, Lydia returns on 26 June, 2026, with ‘It Won’t Belong’, a haunting, cinematic exploration of self-sabotage and the tortured mind.

Written by Melbourne songwriter, Malcolm McDonough and produced by Paul Harris, the song explores the perspective of someone grappling with internal shadows. The lyrics confront the heartbreaking decision to push away a stable love out of the fear that one simply doesn't "belong" in it.
